COVID-19 PCR/Antigen/Antibody tests are available at KOISHIKAWA INTERNAITONAL CLINIC.
All tests below are not covered by Japanese Medical Insurance.
These tests are for those who have not had fever or other symptoms in the last 2 weeks.
If you need a health certificate to travel abroad, please confirm the requirement of the country you intend to enter, and email us (info@kic.clinic) the format beforehand.

＊SARS-CoV-2 is virus name and COVID-19 is disease name.

1.SARS-CoV-2　PCR Test and Result Certificate
Sample：Saliva or Nasal/Throat swab
Reporting：2-4 days after the test
This test result indicates if the client is infected with COVID-19 currently or not.

2.SARS-CoV-2　Antigen test
Sample：Nasal swab
Reporting：On the same day (Test result Will be out in 30min.)
This test result indicates if the client is infected with COVID-19 currently or not.

3.SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Test（IgM/IgG)
Sample：Peripheral blood（finger pick）
Reporting： On the same day（Test result will be out in 15min.）
This test explores the client’s current and past history of COVID-19 infection and immunity against it.

4.In addition to above 1.and/or 2., blood test
Sample：Venous blood（drowing blood from arm）
Reporting：following or 2 days after the test
Following markers are related with COVID-19 infection, and can be added on the certificate.
●Lymphocytes：A type of white blood cell which attacks virus and other foreign substances in the body. Decreased with COVID-19 infection.
●C-Reactive Protein：Measures the level of inflammation in the body. Elevated with COVID-19infection.
●Ferritin：Iron amount in the serum. Elevated with COVID-19infection as virus damage red blood cells and iron-carrying hemoglobins are released.
●D-dimer：Occurs when blood coagulates and makes blood clots. Elevated with COVID-19 infection and complication of vasculitis. It may cause myocardial infarction.
